A little information about us

Trees have held a particular fascination since the dawn of man. Many cultures share stories and legends set amid mysterious forests and woods and Scotland is no exception.

Although the days of the great Caledonian Forest have passed, trees remain symbolically and culturally important to the Scots. From the iconic Scots Pine to the Druidic connotations of the rowan, every tree has a story of its own to tell.

At Trees of Scotland we offer a unique opportunity to reconnect with Scotland’s history and share in its great natural beauty. We plant and grow trees on behalf of our customers, many of whom choose to dedicate and gift their trees to loved ones.

We have been operating successfully for many years and have delighted in the joy and satisfaction our trees have provided for our many customers. We very much hope that you will also become a satisfied customer!

Where will my tree be planted?

Your tree will be planted and carefully tended on the hills near Comrie, in beautiful Perthshire. This is quite literally the heart of Scotland, easily accessible from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness and surrounded by truly spectacular glens, hills and lochs.

Trees of Scotland are working in partnership with Trees4Scotland to ensure that all Dedicated trees are planted and maintained to the highest possible standards.

This unique partnership will also enable the message that Scotland needs more trees to spread further and wider across the globe.

Dedicated tree and plaque

Our most popular product includes your choice of tree – including iconic species such as the Scots Pine – and a plaque bearing your message of dedication planted beside your tree.

Dedicated tree

You write your dedication, and we will choose the species of tree – helping us to maintain a well balanced woodland habitat. You will of course receive a personalised certificate.

Keep it simple: just a tree

Let us plant a tree on your behalf. You will receive a certificate and, as with our other products, a detailed map showing the location of your tree so that you can visit at any time.

What our clients say

My father lives in Sacramento, but he has never forgotten his Scottish roots. His 60th was a special occasion and this was the perfect gift to reconnect him with the old country.

We wanted to reward the team with something special … the fact that it was environmentally friendly just made it the perfect solution. Next year we hope to visit our tree together.

When my aunt passed away we didn’t know what we should do. But dedicating a tree in the Scottish highlands seemed so fitting – I think it really helped us, and I’m sure she would have loved it too.
